Newborn - 5th Grade

Kids aren't just the future of the church – they're part of it right now. That's why we create spaces where children can experience God's love at their level, build lasting friendships, and have seriously fun adventures in faith.

Spiritual growth in children requires giving deliberate attention to teaching values of love, respect, and responsibility to God and to others – so that these lessons will have a durable, lifelong influence.

CVC partners with families in creating a whole-life approach to the spiritual development of the kids in your life.

The Tidepool (Birth-2.5)

Location: The Tidepool is located next to the Worship Center so their parents can be nearby. Go left as you enter the lobby and follow to the end.

Snorkel Reef (Ages 2.5-4)

Location: The Snorkel Reef is located in the Family Life Center, lower level.

The Wave (K-Grade 5)

Dynamic teaching

Location: The Wave is located in the City View Kids building, upstairs.

What times do you offer kids' programs?
Sundays: Events begin at 9 & 10:30 AM, all ages.
Wednesdays: Events begin at 6:30 PM, all ages.

Please arrive early for check-in.

Concurrent classes for both youth and adults are offered at 9 am.
Where do I take my infant or toddler?
Nursery (Birth-2 yrs) for Infants & Toddlers: "The Tidepool" nursery is located next to the Worship Center so their parents can be nearby. Go left as you enter the lobby and follow to the end.

Preschool (ages 2-4 yrs): "Snorkel Reef" is designed for FUN! It is located in the Family Life Center, lower level.
Where do I take my Elementary aged child?
Our Worship Center for kids in grades K-5 is called "The Wave."

It is located in the City View Kids building, upstairs.
Do you have snacks for my child who has allergies?
If your child has allergies, we would be happy to use the snack you provide to keep them safe.
Is your program safe for my child?
Following the requirements of the Department of Justice, fingerprinting and background checks are mandatory for all of our Kids Ministry team members. We also follow all supervision guidelines set by the State of California.
How does someone join the City View Kids ministry team?

SAFETY FIRST

Your child's security is our first priority.

All of our workers are fully screened following state-prescribed regulations, including full background checks and fingerprinting.
We follow all protocols for child/worker ratios.
There will always be a minimum of two workers, even if there are few children present.
We practice state-of-the-art check-in and check-out procedures.
Workers are fully trained and receive regular safety updates.
We recognize age-level requirements for your child's specific needs.
We practice clear communication with parents and guardians.
